A little background…

John Hoey is an established jazz vocalist and instrumentalist of trumpet and guitar traveling up and down the East Coast. He has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Chris' Jazz Cafe, City Winery, South Jazz Kitchen, the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, and the True Blue Jazz Festival. He has also performed with artists including Alphonso Horne, Chanticleer, Gianna Yanelli, John Pizzarelli, The Mills Brothers, The Ocean City Pops, and Rufus Reid. Additionally, he appeared as a finalist in the jazz division of the National Trumpet Competition in 2025.
